Which EasePi model is right for me?
Choose R1 Pro for multi-port networking and lightweight server applications, A2 for a compact dual-NVMe all-flash NAS, or R2 for higher-performance storage, networking, Docker and edge workloads.
What operating system comes preinstalled?
Every EasePi device comes preinstalled with iStoreOS, an open-source smart router system optimized from OpenWrt. It offers a simplified interface, the iStore app center and convenient Docker deployment.
Are SSDs or hard drives included?
Storage drives are not included unless explicitly stated on the product page. Compatible NVMe SSDs or SATA drives must be purchased separately according to the specifications of each model.
Can EasePi replace my Wi-Fi router?
EasePi devices are primarily designed for wired networking, storage and server applications. R1 Pro has no built-in Wi-Fi. Wireless connectivity on A2 and R2 is intended for temporary or auxiliary use; for everyday Wi-Fi coverage, we recommend a dedicated wireless router or access point.
Can I install another operating system?
Yes. Other compatible operating systems may be installed by the user. Availability and functionality depend on the current system image, drivers and hardware support. iStoreOS is the only operating system preinstalled and supported as the default out-of-box experience.
